Bright, Fun Baby Shower with Crafty Details

Mom-to-be Staci’s love for butterflies became the inspiration for the color and crafty details seen in this bright, fun San Francisco baby shower. Christina Diane was on hand to capture the beautiful photos. Staci, who is also behind Vivacious Design and Event Planning, designed all the cute details herself, like those adorable flowers, mostly with purchases from Michaels. Because this was a coed shower, they included some fun drinks for everyone to enjoy: Bloody Marys for this Sunday afternoon! Her husband infused vodka with Jalapenos, Horseradish, and Beets (see the bottom of this post for details on how to do this on your own). Not only was it a fun drink for the guests, but it was also something the couple enjoyed doing together before the shower. See more photos from this fabulous, fun shower in the full gallery.

How to infuse vodka:
Use Fresh Ingredients, always. Tip for better flavor: the longer you infuse, the more flavorful the vodka becomes.

For the Jalapeno:
3 Habanero Peppers + 2 Serrano Peppers + 1 liter of Vodka. Recommended days to infuse: four. Once completed strain and store in a cool, dry place. Best if served chilled.

For the Horseradish:
1/2 cup of peeled horseradish root + 1 liter of Vodka. Recommended days to infuse: seven. Once completed strain and store in a cool, dry place. Best if served chilled.

For the Beets:
3 Medium washed and peeled beets + 1 liter of Vodka. Recommended days to infuse: fourteen. Once completed strain and store in a cool, dry place. Best if served chilled.
