Elliot’s Nursery & Newborn Session

This session has a little of everything: an adorable newborn, his super sweet parents, and the beautiful space he lives in. Laurie Ann Kleinhenz of bee photographie captured it all with these gorgeous images. Parents Mia & Stephen welcomed Elliot into the world about one week before this shoot. Elliot’s parents custom designed his inviting nursery. Dad Stephen built the wall frames from driftwood while mom Mia hand painted the sailboat on the wall and sewed the sailboat mobile. You cannot beat those kinds of thoughtful, handmade touches in a nursery for your little one. Love! It’s obvious in the family photos, too, how much love is in this new little family. Emma- Hi Im Elliot’s mom. I painted all of the illustrations in the room.

Hayley- The color is Bay Leaf also apart of the Martha Stewart collection for Home Depot. I wanted to use Lowe’s Olympic Premium because it is zero VOC, so they matched it for me.

Thanks Everyone for all the compliments!

Hi Elliot’s mum, the room is absolutely beautiful!I would like to know about the paint you used for the boat you hand painted, was that a special white paint?

  36. 36
    Mia says:

I used paint from Martha Stewart’s metallic paint collection. It is white with a shimmer. It’s really nice for details, I think. I like that the color is not flat, but it’s not glittery either. The paint color is called ice cap. You can find the full collection at Home Depot, as well as paint chips.
    Hope that helps.
