Queen of Hearts Birthday Tea Party

This pretty, DIY fifth birthday party for Rosie was originally conceived as a Queen of Hearts Tea Party. But on the day of the party, the birthday girl decided she didn’t want to wear her costume. While the party no longer had a Queen of Hearts, there were still plenty of Alice in Wonderland inspired details at this sweet little soiree. The girls created their own fascinators to wear, and then sat down for snacks and cupcakes. The boys made Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum caps! Love this idea. And of course the Queen of Hearts must have her roses, so pretty paper handmade flowers can be found throughout the decor. Everything you see was designed and made by hand by Rosie’s mom, Margot Connery, while Tracy Connery Photography took the beautiful photos. See more in the full gallery.
