Alice in Wonderland Birthday Party

The talented ladies at Posh Paperie, Elizabeth and Karrie, have whipped up another darling event with this Alice in Wonderland birthday party for Elizabeth’s daughter Felicity’s 8th birthday. They kept the party palette happy and feminine in light pink, strawberry and teal blue. Of course tons of love and creativity went into the paper goods, and the invitations were the highlight! The main invitation, RSVP postcard, and an info card, were presented in a box filled with whimsical goodies: confetti, hearts, custom laser cut “F” flags, pom poms, glitter and bird feathers.

At the party, guests played croquet using flamingos as mallets and stuffed animals as balls. They also created their own crowns at the “Decorate and Don your Royal Crown” station. Love this idea! More fun Alice in Wonderland touches included a dessert bar featuring a table skirt that looked like the dress Alice wore in the movie and a “Drink me” bar, where guests chose a drink and poured it into little milk bottles with heart straws.

The table was prettied up with lovely flowers arranged by Karrie, tiny birdies created by Sea Pinks on Etsy, personalized placecards at each place setting, vintage keys, and a special necklace and ring for each guest. Above the table, the tent was decorated with all kinds of poms, tissue puffs, and custom laser cut “F” flags. After enjoying Mad Hatter’s tea, the girls filled up a candy bag as their favor, then headed to the backyard to swim to complete a perfect afternoon! See all of the photos in the full gallery.
