Baby Chasin’s Birth Story Photography

Birth Story Photography

For us, photographer Gus Dizon’s work is unforgettable. Without fail, each image is beautifully composed, genuine, and so perfectly tells a story. This feature today has all that and much more, as this adorable little guy is Gus’s and his wife Mercy’s baby boy, Chasin. We love birth story photography, but it’s even sweeter when we know all the emotion that was behind the camera, too. Read on for some background from Gus, then you definitely need to see the full gallery, as there are so many more wonderful photos to be seen.

“It happened 5 months after we adopted our beautiful newborn son Ayden that we found out Mercy was pregnant. Three days after Mercy’s due date I convinced her to let me do a quick photo shoot to try and capture Mercy’s very last moments of her pregnancy. Little did I know that in less than 12 hours Mercy’s water would break, and we would make our way to the hospital for our first experience with labor and delivery. It was an intense 36 hours, and as a guy I was very grateful to have the care of our doula Jess there to guide us through this new experience. We are so in love with our precious Chasin Terris who is a wonderful edition to our growing family.”
